Multiprocess welding machine is compact, lightweight
XMT 400 ArcReach
Miller Electric Mfg. LLC has launched the XMT 400 ArcReach multiprocess welding machine, which the company says is the lightest and smallest in its amperage class.
The power source can be controlled remotely, without a control cord, so operators do not have to walk back and forth to the welding machine. It offers dedicated weld processes including gas-shielded FCAW, GTAW, self-shielded FCAW, SMAW, and gouge. The machine has a rating of 400 amps at 60% duty cycle.
Auto-Line technology allows the machine to be plugged into any primary voltage power from 208- to 575-V single- or three-phase and engine-driven generators. Cable Length Compensation helps provide consistent weld quality by automatically compensating for voltage drop over long weld cables.
