Weldcote Striker 160 welding inverter handles GTAW, SMAW

Weldcote, a division of Zika Group, has introduced the Striker 160, a compact, dual-voltage, single-phase welding inverter for GTAW and SMAW. Weighing 21.4 lbs., the machine automatically identifies the power grid voltage and operates accordingly.

The unit features power factor corrector to help increase power efficiency, reduce input power requirements, and stabilize the welding current. As a safety precaution, it has a voltage reduction device that reduces the voltage across the outputs when idling.

Designed to work with input voltages from 98 to 265 V, the unit is suitable for use with generators.
